Precautions
- It is recommended to shave the hair at the injection site.
- Apply a cold compress to the injection site after the injection to reduce the cat’s pain.
- The medication can be stored in the refrigerator, which can effectively reduce the cat’s discomfort.
- Apply a warm compress an hour after the injection to promote drug absorption.
- After the injection, keep the cat’s skin elevated and maintain this position for about 30 seconds to reduce the likelihood of the medication leaking from the injection site.
- If you notice any leakage, immediately clean the area with alcohol and keep the skin and fur dry.
- If you notice any swelling or skin damage, change the injection site.
